The 1200 Double Tri tie was designed for use on domestic houses and small commercial buildings up to 15 metres in height. It can be used in cavities up to 90mm. The Double Tri tie which conforms to BS 1243 Fig 2 has been all but replaced by the 1000 range tie as the BS 1243 standard has been superseded by DD 140.
