ACS Stainless Steel Fixings are proud to be associated with the highly prestigious Ravensbourne College that opens its doors for the first time this September. This ground breaking project has not only received national press coverage, but has also generated world-wide interest.

This innovative design creates an open space environment for students and lecturers alike, oozing an originality not seen before in the education sector. ACS was an integral part of this innovation by designing and manufacturing the windposts used in the internal blockwork walls to help create this dynamic setting for the new media college.

ACS used a mixture of design methods to help create these large expanses of open space using the latest advanced panel design software along with our own unique calculation software. This enabled us to create the clean lines required with the minimum of breaks in the internal blockwork panels. This design resulted in a wide range of windposts, wallties and reinforcement being specified and supplied.
